About This Role
- Manage and lead engineers across multiple teams and locations, overseeing large-scale projects and budgets.
- Set technical direction and roadmap, design and vet system architectures, and solve complex cross-functional problems using AI-first approaches.
- Collaborate with UX, Product Managers, and operations teams to enhance Google Cloud Business Platform systems and deliver impactful software solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience.
- 3 years experience in full stack development with back-end (Java, Python, Golang, C++) and front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- 3 years in a technical leadership role and 2 years in people management or team leadership role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience building and developing scaled infrastructure, distributed systems, or compute/storage technologies (e.g., Spanner, BigQuery).
- Strong background in design, architecture, testing, and launching software products, preferably with 5+ years of experience.
- Experienced with AI technologies, including building products using GenAI or Large Language Models (LLMs).
