About This Role
- Develop and maintain Java backend services using frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit within a collaborative agile team environment.
- Integrate backend services with frontend components ensuring end-to-end functionality and robust system performance.
- Conduct research, proof of concepts, and deliver presentations/demos related to technical solutions and innovations.
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MVC, Design Patterns, and unit testing with JUnit.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience developing microservices using SOAP/RESTful APIs, and familiarity with XML, JSON, NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB), and relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL).
- Bachelor's degree required; BE or MSc preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in backend development in a Java-based microservices architecture suitable for pharma or life sciences technology solutions.
- Proficient in agile methodologies with the ability to collaborate closely with solution architects, technical leads, and front-end developers.
- Comfortable conducting technical research, prototype development, and knowledge sharing through demos and presentations.
