About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications and REST APIs using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Integrate backend services with frontend systems and third-party APIs while ensuring code quality, security, and high performance.
- Collaborate with QA, product, and frontend teams through code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and participation in Agile processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Java backend development experience, including API and microservices development.
- Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, and MySQL; familiarity with MongoDB required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle; basic Docker knowledge; experience in troubleshooting and improving backend performance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building scalable, secure backend systems primarily using Java and Spring frameworks in service-oriented architecture.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams collaborating with cross-functional units including QA and frontend developers.
- Capable of writing clean, reusable code with attention to test coverage, documentation, and security best practices.
