About This Role
- Build and lead a new team of 6 engineers in India delivering a PCS product, with future responsibility for a second team under your leadership.
- Spend approximately 50% time hands-on coding initially, transitioning toward leadership, coaching, and cross-team coordination as the team scales.
- Own day-to-day team operations, sprint delivery, performance management, hiring, and align delivery and technical direction with the UK counterpart team.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience including Engineering Manager or senior technical lead roles, with strong C#/.NET portfolio.
- Deep knowledge of C#/.NET ecosystem, cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), cloud-native development, and modern DevOps/CI-CD practices.
- Experience building and leading an engineering team from scratch, including hiring and establishing delivery practices.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing distributed or international engineering teams, comfortable working Agile/Scrum and coaching others in these methodologies.
- Skilled in system architecture at scale, RESTful API design and security, with a hands-on leadership style transitioning from coding to managing multiple teams.
- Exposure to healthcare or regulated environments, cloud migration projects, or experience growing engineering orgs post-acquisition is highly advantageous.
