About This Role
- Lead technical strategy, architecture, and execution for Demand Planning and Pricing (DPP) platforms within Nike's Supply Chain and Planning Technology organization.
- Design and build scalable backend systems, microservices, and data pipelines integrating event-driven architectures and cloud-native deployment (AWS preferred).
- Mentor engineering teams, drive technical roadmaps, enforce engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver enterprise-wide capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience building scalable backend systems.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership role guiding teams and making architecture decisions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Domain expertise in retail apparel industry demand planning, forecasting, and pricing solutions; experience with Java, Spring Boot, event-driven messaging (Kafka or similar), SQL, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and CI/CD containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
