About This Role
- Lead design, development, and maintenance of cloud-native microservices, APIs, and data pipelines using Scala, Java, and AWS serverless technologies within an agile team.
- Translate business requirements into clean, scalable, and secure code to support the Ascend Cloud Foundation Platform under tight delivery timelines.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, enforce DevSecOps practices, and ensure high code quality with comprehensive testing and CI/CD integration.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-10 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Scala and Java (Spring) for building secure, scalable microservices and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Batch, Step Functions, Lambda, and serverless data processing.
- Degree in Computer Science (B.Sc., MCA, B.Tech) or higher.
- Work Location: Hybrid with 40% onsite presence in Hyderabad office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing secure, mission-critical fintech or insurance software systems in regulated environments.
- Strong background in AWS cloud services and serverless architecture, including data orchestration workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in agile teams, with a focus on clean architecture, SOLID principles, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps integration.
