About This Role
- Own end-to-end automation frameworks for web (Playwright) and mobile (Appium) platforms, ensuring scalable, maintainable test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead test planning, automation strategy, and quality execution for product releases including test design, execution, and defect management.
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers in automation practices and testing fundamentals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software testing experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on automation engineering.
- Strong proficiency with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for web and Appium for native/hybrid mobile apps on Android/iOS.
- B.Tech/BE degree in Computer Science or IT.
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch and working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineer able to take full ownership of automation frameworks and quality strategy across releases in web and mobile domains.
- Comfortable working with complex test environments including real devices, cloud device labs, API testing, and SQL validations.
- Senior-level QA with leadership experience mentoring peers and influencing cross-team quality standards and processes.
