About This Role
- Lead design, architecture, and delivery of large-scale, high-performance backend systems across multiple teams.
- Drive technical strategy, solve complex problems, and enable scalable, reliable, and secure system development.
- Establish engineering standards, lead technical initiatives, and mentor engineers to elevate team capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- 16 - 20 years of software engineering experience with significant architecture and large-scale system design responsibility.
- Expertise in microservices, GraphQL/REST API design, background-job systems, application security, PostgreSQL, AWS production environment, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and LLM APIs in a production product.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; location Bangalore (Remote).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced Principal Engineer with proven leadership in cross-team technical alignment and governance.
- Strong hands-on and strategic focus on scalable microservices architecture, security, and cloud-native systems (AWS/GCP).
- Operating effectively at organizational level with ability to manage ambiguity, high-pressure environments, and multi-disciplinary stakeholder communication.
