About This Role
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright, Selenium, and API testing frameworks like Postman and REST Assured.
- Ensure product reliability, scalability, and security by building and maintaining automated testing frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to cover functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, and provide release readiness feedback.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in test automation for web and API applications.
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming languages.
- Experience with web testing frameworks (Playwright, Selenium) and API automation tools (Postman, REST Assured).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in agile software development lifecycle and familiar with DevOps/CI-CD environments involving automated test execution and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and debugging skills with knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and scripting.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally, contributing to software architecture understanding and test design discussions, reflecting a T-shaped engineering approach.
