About This Role
- Lead design and development of the Data Fabric platform, focusing on scalable, reliable, and secure distributed data infrastructure.
- Architect and optimize large-scale data systems for ingestion, storage, processing, and querying with an emphasis on performance and high availability.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring senior engineers, establishing best practices, and owning software deliverables to meet quality, security, scalability, and extensibility standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years with distributed data systems.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in system-level programming languages such as C# or Java, and strong understanding of object-oriented design, system architecture, and data structures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern engineering practices including CI/CD and DevOps.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader with a proven record of mentoring and driving complex technical decisions in globally distributed teams.
- Strong background in large-scale distributed systems design and optimization, with hands-on architecture ownership.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and integrating emerging technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes) to innovate data infrastructure solutions.
