Sr Engineering Manager - Target India

Lead and manage the engineering team in India responsible for building, operating, and evolving Target’s Managed Containers controlplane platform including APIs, workload placement, deployment orchestration, and access control.

Co-own the technical direction and roadmap with US counterpart, ensure operational health, incident response, and cross-team execution supporting scalable, reliable, and secure container orchestration across on-prem, GCP, stores, and distribution centers.

Recruit and develop engineering talent while maintaining a culture focused on ownership, technical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

6+ years of experience in software, platform, infrastructure engineering, or distributed systems.

2+ years of engineering leadership experience including delivery, talent development, and operational responsibilities.

Experience with Kubernetes or Kubernetes-adjacent platforms, platform APIs, deployment orchestration, and backend service development (Java/Groovy/Ratpack/CI-CD).
