About This Role
- Own end-to-end design, implementation, testing, and deployment of complex Java Spring Boot microservices in a cloud-native environment.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to align architecture and technical roadmaps for core Controls Technology platforms.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and elevate engineering standards across the team.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience focused on backend systems.
- Strong proficiency with Java 17+, Spring Boot framework, Apache Kafka, Redis, and foundational SQL.
- Experience with containerization and cloud-native application development (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level individual contributor comfortable with full feature lifecycle ownership and driving technical excellence.
- Experience in financial services or large, complex global environments preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, and use of AI-assisted development tools for productivity enhancements.
