About This Role
- Build and lead the India Operations team for a U.S. stock transfer agency, including hiring, role definition, and coverage design across Indian and U.S. Eastern hours.
- Own day-to-day transfer agency operations including DTC processing, transfer reviews, KYC/KYB checks, shareholder support, SEC compliance reporting, and corporate actions execution.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, drive process improvements and automation, ensuring service quality with SLAs, control adherence, and escalations.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in securities or transfer agency operations (global transfer agent, Indian RTA, asset manager, or bank securities-services center).
- Proven experience in building and leading operations teams from scratch.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, accounting, or related field.
- Ability to work reliably during U.S. Eastern Time hours.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader comfortable with hands-on execution and scaling teams in a securities or transfer agency context.
- High attention to detail with strong respect for written procedures and ability to exercise sound judgement on escalations.
- Strong data skills including Excel/Sheets and familiarity with scripting or automation tools, plus experience handling compliance and sensitive information.
