About This Role
- Develop and program PLC and HMI systems primarily using Omron and Mitsubishi (FX and Q Series) with associated software tools (CX-Programmer, NB Designer, GX Works 2 & 3, GT Designer-3).
- Operate and program vision cameras (Keyence and Omron) including teaching and integration with sensors and relay logic systems.
- Support integration and configuration of pneumatic, hydraulic systems, servo drives, SCADA (Vb.Net), and basic SQL Server tasks related to automation data handling.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: Diploma with 7-8 years or B.Tech with 3-4 years in PLC/SCADA programming or automation engineering.
- Mandatory PLC/HMI expertise with Omron and Mitsubishi (FX and Q Series) including CX-Programmer and related software.
- Working knowledge of vision systems, sensors (Omron and Keyence), relay logic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Basic familiarity with Visual Studio (Vb.Net), NI LabVIEW, SQL Server, Mitsubishi servo drives, and SAP PM/MM modules.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced automation engineer comfortable with programming diverse PLC brands especially Omron and Mitsubishi in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Capable of integrating vision systems and sensor technologies with automation controls for industrial applications.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement processes like 5S, Kaizen, and Quality Circles signaling operational excellence.
