About This Role
- Lead the design and operational transformation of Rippling’s global accounting system, focusing on AI-driven solutions and scalable platform architecture.
- Own the full development lifecycle of core accounting product pillars, from defining new functionality to deploying scalable, high-performance systems.
- Drive technical depth by engaging hands-on in code, debugging, architecture review, and operational issue resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 12–15 years total experience combining IC and managerial roles.
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience with at least 2 years managing managers.
- Strong technical expertise in platform systems and product outcomes with hands-on coding and debugging skills.
- Preferred domain experience in accounting, payroll, fintech, or high-correctness financial systems; cross-functional collaboration skills required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineering leader able to engage hands-on with complex systems and lead operational improvements toward system stability and autonomy.
- Proven track record in shipping products in ambiguous, high-velocity environments with cross-team stakeholder management.
- Comfortable owning both technical architecture and product strategy in financial or enterprise software domains.
