About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability.
- Implement modern Android architectures such as MVVM or Clean Architecture, integrating REST APIs, third-party SDKs, payment gateways, and backend services.
- Manage application builds, releases, and deployments on Google Play Console, and collaborate with UI/UX, backend, QA, and product teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in native Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose/XML layouts, REST APIs, and modern architecture patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with Google Play Store submission and release management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with modern Android reactive programming concepts such as Coroutines, Flow, and LiveData.
- Skilled in debugging, performance optimization with Android Studio profiling tools, and writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
- Able to work effectively in cross-functional teams involving UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product management.
