About This Role
- Monitor, assess, and analyze data and processes to identify policy gaps and recommend improvements.
- Interpret complex and unstructured data/code to redesign processes and align with best development standards, improving compute and data efficiency.
- Work primarily within own team impacting quality of services related to big data systems, data warehouses, and machine learning applications.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s or Engineering degree with more than 3 years of experience in BigData systems such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark (Python/Scala) and cloud-based data management.
- At least 3 years of experience designing software systems with intense computational needs across real-time and batch processes.
- Mandatory skills: Unix scripting, Python and Scala programming, strong SQL experience, and knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Work experience required: More than 3 years in relevant big data and programming technologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling large, multiple datasets and data warehouses with ability to extract data via programming.
- Familiarity with credit card domain and risk/control awareness relevant to financial services.
- Demonstrates strong process/project management skills and capability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
