About This Role
- Handle general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Drive month-end close activities, analyze balance sheet and P&L variances, and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements using automation and digital tools to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Knowledge and application of US GAAP; experience with month-end close and Record-to-Report processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in applying accounting judgment and financial reporting in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Capable of leveraging automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Macros, Power Automate) to drive process improvements.
- Experienced with process simplification and operational efficiency initiatives within finance functions.
