About This Role
- Own end-to-end Android platform customization and software development for Teachmint X AI-powered interactive flat panel devices.
- Build and operate OTA update pipeline including constructing, signing, releasing updates and managing signing keys and verified boot chains.
- Lead system-level debugging, performance optimization, platform security management, and collaborate on technical interfaces with partners and software teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years of Android experience with 2–3 years in AOSP/platform or device software development with OEM/BSP background.
- Hands-on experience building AOSP from source including repo/manifest, Soong/Make, and device/product configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Android platform security, OTA update mechanisms, native debugging (C/C++), and system debugging tools (adb, logcat, Perfetto).
- Location requirement: Bangalore, Onsite.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full Android stack development from kernel/BSP level up to system apps and services.
- Capable of authoring precise technical specifications and working directly with SoC vendors and partners across time zones.
- Comfortable operating in hardware-software integrated environments with focus on device security, performance, and platform compliance.
