About This Role
- Design, develop, and execute 20+ comprehensive test plans quarterly ensuring 90%+ test coverage with 50+ automated test scripts at 98% reliability.
- Reduce production defects by at least 20% within 6 months and maintain a defect closure rate of 90%+ per sprint.
- Contribute to decreasing QA cycle time by 15% through process improvements and participate fully in sprint planning and review meetings.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software testing with proven metrics success, including defect reduction.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) with ability to write 200+ lines of test code daily.
- Experience with test management tools managing 300+ test cases and implementing automated regression test suites (60%+ automation).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in high-volume test case management and automation with measurable impact on defect rates and QA efficiency.
- Skilled in performance testing with ability to identify majority of bottlenecks prior to production.
- Demonstrated ability to improve QA cycle time and actively participate in agile sprint processes contributing QA insights.
