About This Role
- Design, develop, and unit test switch and router networking products, owning end-to-end feature development and testing processes.
- Collaborate within an agile team environment contributing to coding, testing (feature, regression), automation scripts, and product documentation.
- Maintain and improve network infrastructure software impacting product success and evolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years hands-on experience building and supporting resilient network systems and platform services.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for L2/L3 Ethernet switches or routers.
- Proficiency in networking protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, ARP, ND, IPv6, RIB, BFD with strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in design and development of system-level network infrastructure, particularly routing and switching software.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in an agile software development environment.
- Possesses deep networking protocol knowledge paired with practical software engineering and testing experience in telecommunications or data communications context.
