About This Role
- Design, develop, and unit test unicast routing protocols software features for Ericsson’s IP Operating System used in Router 6000 and upcoming cloud-based routing platforms.
- Own delivery of carrier-class embedded networking software focused on BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EVPN, ARP/ND, and RIB protocols ensuring quality and timely execution.
- Participate in all phases of agile software lifecycle, including issue resolution and high-level reviews of deliverables.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software product development within IP networking or routing software.
- Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 routing protocols specifically BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EVPN, ARP/ND, or RIB.
- Experience delivering large scale embedded networking software products with carrier-class quality.
- Academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions, subject to verification.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven engineer capable of independently delivering complex networking protocol features on embedded router platforms.
- Experienced in agile software development lifecycle with strong protocol domain expertise in unicast routing.
- Comfortable working in a high-quality, process-driven environment with active participation in design and issue resolution.
