About This Role
- Design, develop, unit test, and maintain switch and router network products focusing on system-level infrastructure.
- Own end-to-end feature lifecycle including design, coding, unit testing, regression testing, and automation test script creation.
- Collaborate in an agile team environment contributing to documentation and ongoing product improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years hands-on experience in network systems development and platform services supporting resilient network solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ with experience in L2/L3 Ethernet switch or router software development.
- Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, ARP, ND, IPv6, RIB, BFD).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically adept with strong networking and routing protocol knowledge relevant to distributed computing and client-server architecture.
- Experience working in agile/scrum teams with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
- Capable of independent feature ownership including design, testing, and automation in complex network products.
