About This Role
- Create and maintain functional, negative, boundary, integration, and regression test scenarios for web, backend, API, messaging, data, and device-connected workflows.
- Develop and maintain UI and end-to-end automation tests using Playwright and/or Cypress; contribute to API and service-level automated tests; execute and analyze automated tests in CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with developers and senior testers to clarify behaviors, improve testability, maintain regression coverage, and document defects accurately including retesting and verification.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software testing experience including UI/API automation and Agile product delivery exposure.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress for UI automation testing, REST API testing, and scripting in TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes basics, Jira and Confluence. Notice period up to 15 days considered.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise in end-to-end validation testing for enterprise or product software including functional, integration, regression, and UI/API automation.
- Strong technical understanding of Angular/TypeScript frontend supported by C#/.NET or Python backends, with ability to diagnose defects using browser developer tools, logs, and database checks.
- Experienced working in Agile teams with practical knowledge of automated testing in containerized environments and test documentation management tools like Jira and Confluence.
