About This Role
- Lead architecture and design for major systems ensuring scalability, compliance, and reliability under growth conditions.
- Partner cross-functionally early to shape problems and influence product and engineering decisions beyond your team.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards and practices to mitigate systemic risks and mentor engineers on technical judgment and AI tool usage.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading, Spring MVC, SQL, and web services (REST/OAuth/JSON).
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, or Pair Programming).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and Kubernetes cluster deployment and management (highly desirable).

- Operates independently to solve complex, ambiguous engineering problems without existing playbooks; recognized as a technical leader beyond immediate team.
- Experienced with integrating and leveraging AI-assisted development tools professionally to accelerate engineering workflows.
- Strong systems thinking, with ability to balance tradeoffs and maintain architectural integrity under scaling and compliance challenges.
