About This Role
- Lead strategic planning and execution for backend engineering to develop key technologies enhancing OneTrust’s market position.
- Own end-to-end software development including setting technical direction, requirements, goals, timelines and ensuring project delivery on schedule.
- Build and mentor engineering teams, design systems, and improve development processes while ensuring compliance with security regulations and product performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 12+ years of engineering experience with proven delivery of complex enterprise software that has significant market impact.
- Experience with Angular, component library development, and design systems to create reusable, high-performance code.
- Work Experience Required: 12+ years in engineering roles including development, operations, troubleshooting, and team management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior engineering leader capable of strategic decision-making and overseeing large, complex system design and architecture.
- Strong technical background in data structures, system design, and programming within agile environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale engineering teams with focus on onboarding, mentorship, and maintaining inclusive, accessible user experiences.
