About This Role
- Own technical quality assurance for data flowing through APIs, orchestration services, and databases, focusing on detecting and isolating defects across distributed components.
- Develop and execute test strategies, including automated regression tests, for API, integration, database, and data quality validations with measurable coverage and defect tracking.
- Trace transactions end-to-end through multiple services and ensure accuracy and completeness of invoice-related and pre-trip data flows.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in QA Engineering, SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or similar technical testing roles.
- Strong hands-on API testing skills, including creating and validating JSON-based requests and responses using tools like Postman, cURL, Swagger, or OpenAPI.
- Proficient in SQL and relational database querying for data validation.
- Experience testing integrations or distributed services involving multi-component transaction flows and defect isolation across those layers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end testing within complex, distributed service architectures involving APIs and data pipelines.
- Experienced in designing and maintaining automated tests prioritizing critical data paths and repeatable scenarios.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and globally distributed Agile teams to clarify requirements, log detailed defects, and report on testing status.
