About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms using Databricks and Azure supporting large-scale IoT and airport operational data.
- Lead technical architecture decisions including storage, processing frameworks, and integration patterns for both real-time and batch data streams.
- Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices for data governance, CI/CD, security, and collaborate cross-functionally for delivery of robust data solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or equivalent role.
- Expertise in Databricks and Azure Data Services with proven production-grade data pipeline delivery.
- Experience with streaming architectures, event-driven systems, microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and implementing complex cloud data solutions at scale in real-time and batch processing environments.
- Strong background in data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, data vault, star/snowflake schemas) and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Comfortable leading technical decisions and mentoring within a globally distributed, innovation-driven engineering organization.
