Software Engineer, Java & GCP, VP

Develop and maintain enterprise-grade software within a permanent feature team applying Agile methods.

Collaborate with principal engineers, architects, and stakeholders to align platform functionality with business objectives.

Design and implement resilient, scalable microservices and automation for build, test, and deployment activities using innovative approaches.

Minimum 14 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise application development in large-scale environments.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Pub/Sub, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Experience in transforming monolithic applications to cloud-native microservices and expertise with databases like Sybase, PostgreSQL, and Oracle Coherence caching.

Domain experience in investment banking and market risk required.

Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions solving complex business and engineering challenges.

Strong full stack software engineering skills with strategic focus on cloud-native architectures and legacy platform modernization.

Experienced in working cross-functionally with architects and business stakeholders to shape platform direction aligned to business needs.
