About This Role
- Design and develop scalable, low-latency backend APIs and event-driven services supporting membership, loyalty, rewards, and consumer engagement use cases.
- Build and evolve customer-facing web applications and backend integrations with platforms like Antavo loyalty and enterprise commerce systems for real-time member data synchronization.
- Ensure security, reliability, and performance of solutions while contributing to reusable engineering standards, mentoring juniors, and troubleshooting production issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years experience in designing and building large scale distributed backend systems on cloud-native platforms.
- Experience with enterprise loyalty platforms, preferably Antavo, including member lifecycle and rewards processing.
- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architecture, React, Node.js, Kafka, and both SQL/No-SQL databases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
