About This Role
- Develop and maintain backend microservices enabling omnichannel commerce features such as real-time inventory availability, order promising, and fulfillment integration.
- Design and deliver scalable, low-latency, event-driven inventory and order management systems leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and messaging technologies like Kafka.
- Own features or components from design through production including testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous performance improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications, preferably in commerce, order management, inventory, or supply chain domains.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience with production-grade backend services development including automated testing, CI/CD, and production support.
- Work Experience Required: 4+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in commerce/order lifecycle concepts like inventory availability, ATP/ATS, reservations, allocation, and fulfillment operations.
- Skilled in integrating backend services with OMS, WMS, ERP, commerce, and fulfillment platforms; Fluent Commerce OMS experience preferred.
- Capable of delivering scalable and reliable event-driven microservices with strong emphasis on observability, reliability engineering, and performance optimization.
