About This Role
- Own and scale the safety category from launch to multi-crore monthly run-rate, including setting OEM ecosystem, assortment, pricing, and fulfilment.
- Manage end-to-end category P&L, ensuring 99% OTIF, gross margin expansion, supplier onboarding, and private-label development.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to deliver customer retention, efficient working capital usage, and high KPI growth quarter on quarter.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–12 years' experience in category management, B2B distribution, or industrial/safety products.
- Direct experience with safety/PPE/industrial MRO and established OEM relationships required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (MBA preferred).
- Strong negotiation, commercial acumen, and data/analytics skills (Excel/BI).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven operator with track record of hyper-growth category scaling and measurable improvements in revenue and margin.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and building systems/processes in an emerging category within B2B industrial distribution.
- Experience owning full end-to-end category management including OTIF, pricing, assortment, private label, and supplier ecosystem in safety or related domains.
