About This Role
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team building enterprise-grade platforms using Java, .NET, and Azure with an AI-first approach.
- Embed AI tooling into the entire software development lifecycle, including AI-assisted development, intelligent test generation, and automated code review.
- Own end-to-end delivery of scalable enterprise applications, including sprint quality, release velocity, technical debt trade-offs, and architectural decisions alongside senior technical leaders.
Minimum Requirements
- 15-20 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role; exceptional candidates with fewer years but strong AI expertise are considered.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development and solid experience with Azure platform.
- Experience actively using and embedding AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) into team workflows, not just piloting them.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader comfortable with hands-on technical engagement including code review and architectural decision-making in agile, high-delivery environments.
- Deep understanding and clear articulation of AI-native engineering practices and how to standardize them across teams.
- Background or exposure to regulated industries such as insurance, fintech, or banking is a plus but not mandatory.
