About This Role
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot multiple software components using Python and related technologies within the Payments Technology team.
- Write secure, high-quality code and leverage enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and productivity.
- Analyze large datasets to inform secure and stable application development, participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle with agile methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Hands-on practical experience with Python, Observability, OpenTelemetry (OTel), and Dynatrace.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs.
- Experience in a large corporate environment developing and debugging code with modern programming and database querying languages.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ability operating in agile, SDLC-driven environments, with exposure to CI/CD, resiliency, and security considerations.
- Experienced in full stack Python development and microservices deployment using AWS services (EKS/ECS/EC2).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
