Tier-1 employer and popular backend title increase competition, but seniority and niche Golang/Kubernetes skills reduce density.
Strong security/SIEM and cloud-native distributed systems focus increases industry-specific fit sensitivity.
Explicit 8+ years plus mandatory Golang, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and CI/CD experience makes shortlisting highly strict.
Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable backend services and security capabilities using Golang and cloud-native technologies.
Build and optimize distributed systems for reliable operation across large-scale, high-volume deployment environments involving Kubernetes and container technologies.
Own features end-to-end from requirements gathering, architecture, implementation, testing, CI/CD, deployment, to production support, collaborating with multiple stakeholders including architecture, product, and customers.
Minimum 8 years professional software engineering experience focused on backend/application development.
At least 3 years hands-on production experience with Golang development.
Minimum 2 years experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments (Docker or Podman).
At least 2 years experience designing and implementing distributed, cloud-native systems and developing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (e.g., GitLab).
Experienced in building security, SIEM, observability, data platform, or threat detection solutions within complex, large-scale distributed systems.
Strong understanding and practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and globally deployed service architectures.
Demonstrated ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives end-to-end and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architecture, product management, engineering, and customer-facing groups.
