Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components within Commercial & Investment Bank - Payments Technology team using Java, Python, SQL, and AWS.
Write secure, high-quality code leveraging enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools while ensuring code validation through peer reviews and automated tests.
Apply SDLC tools and agile methodologies to deliver secure, stable, scalable software solutions with consideration of upstream/downstream system impacts.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in large corporate environments.
Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java 17+ preferred) and database querying languages (Oracle or PostgreSQL preferred).
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI use including security and data sensitivity.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced full stack Java developer with at least 2 years in Java 17+ and enterprise application development.
Familiar with microservices development deployed via AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service / Elastic Container Service and EC2.
Knowledgeable in SDLC delivery with Agile, CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and infrastructure automation using Terraform on AWS.
