About This Role
- Lead design, development, and automation of Linux infrastructure, including standard OS images across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Manage software distribution and deployment (primarily RPMs) across all clouds, ensuring operational stability and security compliance.
- Drive adoption and implementation of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes across the team.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of practical software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Strong Linux infrastructure development expertise including OS configuration, system hardening, kernel tuning, and package management on on-prem and cloud.
- Experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible (Core or Automation Platform), containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and Python for automation solutions.
- Experience with REST API/microservices development, cross-platform infrastructure including Windows Server, and use of AI-assisted software development tools with understanding of responsible AI practices.

- Technical leader capable of managing and integrating infrastructure solutions spanning Linux, cloud platforms, container orchestration, and automation tools.
- Experienced in implementing enterprise-scale automation and AI-assisted development workflows, setting team standards for validation and secure coding.
- Comfortable in hybrid infrastructure environments requiring orchestration between on-prem and cloud, with hands-on experience in software distribution and patch lifecycle management.
