Develop and integrate networking and security protocol features into Cisco's NOS products, ensuring deployment readiness in customer environments.
Serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) for specific components, coordinating with product management, testing, and customer teams to translate requirements into solutions.
Manage issue triage, support, monitoring, and resolution while gaining expertise in networking, security, OS protocols, and Cisco development/unit-test environments.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of professional experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or technical equivalent.
Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C/C++ programming.
Strong understanding of operating system concepts, computer networking, multithreaded programming, and system programming on UNIX-based systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in end-to-end software development life cycle with exposure to operating system/distributed systems domains and networking protocols.
Capable of interacting with product management, testing, and customer teams effectively as a technical point of contact for components.
Familiarity or experience with network security, L2/L3 protocols, optical networking, and scripting languages like GoLang or Python is a strong plus.
