About This Role
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents that perform multi-step autonomous tasks integrating large language models with internal and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain orchestration layers for AI agents including error handling, retries, and human checkpoints in workflows.
- Implement AI workflows that involve data retrieval, document generation, and cross-system integration using APIs and tool-calling frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years professional software development experience with at least 1 year working on large language models or agentic AI systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar, plus experience with large language model APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI).
- Experience building tool-calling/function-calling agents and managing multi-turn reasoning with tool schemas.
- Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, API integration, asynchronous systems, and AI safety/evaluation in production.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and operating complex AI agent systems in regulated industries, with attention to compliance, data privacy, and security.
- Skilled at translating business problems into technical AI solutions, communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable in pharmaceutical or healthcare enterprise systems and tool-integration standards such as MCP, with awareness of cloud platforms and MLOps practices.
