Tier-1 brand, metro location, and mid-level generalist banking role increases applicant competition.
Role requires banking-specific core systems and regulatory expertise, limiting cross-industry transferability.
Explicit 4–7 years and mandatory core-banking, regulatory, and UAT experience make filters strict.
Own and optimize retail banking processes for Deposits, Lending, and Payments end-to-end, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Map and analyze AS-IS processes and design TO-BE processes aligned with regulatory standards, document BRD/FRD, SOPs, and process maps (BPMN).
Drive UAT planning and execution, implement process metrics (e.g., TAT, FTR), support risk & compliance audits, and conduct training for business and operations teams.
3–5 years of experience in retail banking process consulting with exposure to Deposits, Lending, or Payments; cross-domain exposure preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Technology (BE/BTech) or MBA (Postgraduate/Professional degree).
Strong knowledge of RBI, KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, NPCI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, IRAC/NPA norms, and card dispute/chargeback rules.
Experience in core banking systems, business analysis (BRD/FRD documentation), BPMN process mapping, and UAT execution.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including business, operations, risk, compliance, and IT to deliver process and technology improvements.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into functional requirements with strong stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma process optimization standards and core banking platform integrations (e.g., Finacle, Flexcube).
