About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API test automation frameworks and suites.
- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates, parallel execution, and environment validation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in applications, automation frameworks, and CI/CD; mentor junior QA engineers and lead automation best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant QA/test automation experience.
- Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript programming and test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, WebDriverIO, Karate, Rest Assured.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., Jenkins) and writing maintainable automated tests.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in independently delivering high-quality test automation and breaking down complex testing problems.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern Quality Engineering practices (Agile, Lean, XP, Continuous Testing).
- Capable of taking ownership of deliverables, mentoring juniors, and making technology decisions based on experience.
