About This Role
- Own development and execution of comprehensive quality strategies with emphasis on test automation and API validation to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Lead technical quality initiatives, mentor teams on automation and best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed continuous testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive testing and validation for APIs, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications, including performance, security, and integration testing to support reliable production deployments.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation roles.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, Playwright, or Karate.
- Proficient programming/scripting skills in Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native applications, and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior quality engineer comfortable leading cross-team quality strategy in Agile and DevOps environments with strong independent decision-making.
- Strong background in test automation engineering with deep knowledge of API testing frameworks and software architecture.
- Capable of elevating quality standards by mentoring engineers and influencing engineering and product teams across multiple products or services.
