About This Role
- Lead design, development, and automation of Linux-based infrastructure including OS image creation for servers, desktops, GPUs, and containers across on-prem and cloud.
- Own software distribution services primarily via RPMs across all clouds, including testing and production deployment.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to enhance code quality, delivery speed, and operational standards within infrastructure teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with formal training or certification.
- Strong Linux infrastructure expertise: OS configuration, system hardening, kernel tuning, package management on on-prem and cloud.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools (Ansible Core/Automation Platform), Python scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes orchestration, cloud/hybrid/virtualized infrastructure, and building REST API microservices.
