About This Role
- Own monitoring, automation, and quick incident response for production applications, infrastructure, and cloud alerts.
- Maintain stability, performance, and uptime of high-value risk and analytics tools used by Portfolio Management.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, take ownership of production environment for key business applications, and facilitate issue handovers across regions.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years professional experience with Python, Unix/Linux shell scripting, and SQL.
- Experience working directly with portfolio managers and traders.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years relevant technical experience as per above.
- Support availability including outside standard working hours, weekends, and shift coverage (implied by support requirements).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in supporting enterprise risk applications in a production environment, preferably within finance or portfolio management context.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ownership of tasks to completion.
- Familiarity with DevOps and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Maven, AWS) and interest in public cloud/serverless architectures.
