About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance Java-based microservices and backend applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from requirements analysis to production support and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership including architecture discussions, code reviews, mentoring, and adoption of software engineering best practices involving HP Non-Stop Tandem technology (COBOL, TAL).
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in COBOL, TAL, and HP Non-Stop Tandem utilities (NS-SQL, Pathways, FUP, Enscribe).
- Proven experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting HP Non-Stop Tandem applications.
- Experience with Java-based microservices and Spring Boot technologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineer comfortable working in FinTech, Banking, Payments, or Financial Services domains with high-throughput transactional systems.
- Technical leader with hands-on experience in legacy HP Non-Stop Tandem systems and modern microservices architectures.
- Capable of translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions and mentoring teams.
