Ensure production readiness and stability including hands-on responsibility for production support on a rotational basis and continuous improvement of delivery quality.
Minimum 12+ years of engineering experience in software development and technical leadership.
Proficient in Java (preferably Spring Boot), ReactJS, Next.js, RESTful API design, microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar, with knowledge of secure coding and review practices.
Work location: Chennai or Gurgaon; able to work overlapping US East Coast time zones; Production support rotation expected.
Proven technical leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary development teams and driving architecture alignment across complex enterprise projects.
Deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud native apps, microservices, API design, and modern frontend frameworks especially React/Next.js with SSR/SSG.
Experience in insurance domain or familiarity with US insurance business processes and regulatory environment is a strong advantage.
