About This Role
- Accountable for managing assigned suppliers and parts to ensure timely delivery of materials to manufacturing, supporting production and spare parts needs.
- Maintain supplier relationships, manage lead times, safety stock, expedites, and Supplier Change Notifications to prevent disruptions and ensure material quality.
- Drive key procurement KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and requisition conversion; execute purchase orders optimizing pricing and quantities using SAP and Ariba systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of direct purchase experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, SAP preferred, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Willingness to work 2-11 shift supporting US region; Visa sponsorship not available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement in a manufacturing setting with direct material focus.
- Strong operational ownership over supplier performance, inventory, and purchase order management using ERP tools (SAP, Ariba).
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with planning, quality, engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to solve material supply issues.
