About This Role
- Develop and maintain a high-performance Java-based Labor Planning & Forecasting application focusing on scalability, performance, and secure coding.
- Own full lifecycle delivery including design, coding, testing, QA collaboration, bug fixing, and product demos for Legion's scheduling and optimization platform.
- Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure high code quality and adherence to engineering best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 7-8 years of experience with backend technologies including Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL, building multi-tenant SaaS applications and APIs.
- 5+ years of experience delivering software in cloud-based environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, application architecture, and professional software engineering best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading complex software projects end-to-end, from architecture to production deployment and maintenance.
- Strong expertise in building scalable, distributed, high-volume transaction systems in cloud environments.
- Comfortable making data-driven technical decisions, mentoring peers, and ensuring product quality through design and code reviews.
