About This Role
- Own insurance policies, processes, and quality standards to ensure accurate and scalable insurance data aligned with product strategy.
- Monitor and maintain the health of the insurance database by defining and reporting on key metrics, leading incident reviews, and driving continuous improvements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data teams to translate insurance policies into product requirements and influence roadmap and taxonomy architecture.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution.
- 5+ years experience in U.S. healthcare industry with expertise in Insurance Payor Management, Payor Analytics, or related functions at payor or plan level.
- Strong understanding of U.S. commercial insurance plans, carriers, and provider networks.
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, Looker or other analytical tools; experience with AI-driven tools and workflow automation is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep domain expertise in U.S. health insurance market able to act as subject matter expert and final escalation point for complex insurance taxonomy and policy decisions.
- Experience working in cross-functional roles involving Product, Operations, Analytics, and Engineering to deliver scalable data-driven solutions.
- Analytical thinker who can translate complex policies into actionable product requirements and influence senior stakeholders on tradeoffs and roadmap priorities.
