About This Role
- Own end-to-end resolution of critical, complex escalations in enterprise and hyperscale storage environments.
- Lead incident response including war rooms and cross-functional teams to manage production-impacting issues.
- Drive product improvements through root cause analysis, AI-powered diagnostics, and collaboration with engineering and field teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in enterprise storage, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure support/engineering.
- Strong knowledge of file systems (S3, POSIX, NFS), storage performance, Linux kernel internals, and high-performance networking technologies like RDMA and NVMe-oF.
- Proficient in Python, Go, C++ and debugging tools such as strace, tcpdump, perf; hands-on Linux troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with AI diagnostic tools and automation for incident resolution; exceptional communication including executive reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep technical expertise in distributed storage systems with ability to manage and lead high-pressure escalations.
- Experienced in leveraging AI and automation for diagnostics and MTTR reduction, indicating strategic focus on innovation and operational excellence.
- Strategic collaborator across teams (Engineering, Product, Field) with executive communication skills, suited for handling high-severity incidents and delivering impactful RCAs.
